Chickpea Croutons

Serves: 1½ cups
Ingredients
- 1½ cups cooked chickpeas (if time permits, it is ideal to remove the skins)
- 2 teaspoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon oregano
- ½ teaspoon salt
Instructions
- preheat oven to 400 and line a baking sheet with parchment paper
- toss all ingredients together in a bowl until chickpeas are evenly coated
- spread out in one layer onto lined baking sheet
- bake for 20 minutes, toss and bake for another 10 minutes
- remove from oven and allow to cool completely
- store in an airtight container at room temperature for a few days, if they get soft you can always rebake them!
