Super Kale Salad


  • 1 head of kale – wash, remove from stems & cut into bite size pieces
  • 1 ripe avocado
  • 1/3 Cup flax oil or olive oil
  • 3 Tablespoons nutritional yeast (cheesy flavor & vegan source of B12)
  • 2 Tablespoons Tamari
  • garlic powder to taste
  • salt to taste
  • 1/4 Cup pumpkin seeds
  • 1/4 Cup hemp seeds


  1. Place the kale, avocado, flax oil, nutritional yeast, Bragg’s, and garlic in a large bowl and use your hands to gently massage and soften the kale leaves
  2. Sprinkle in the pumpkin seeds and hemp seeds.
  3. Give it a taste and adjust the ingredients accordingly.
  4. Serve immediately
